3D Furniture Rendering

Photorealistic furniture renders for manufacturers, importers and online retailers, from a single packshot to a 3D configurator. We have worked with furniture brands for well over a decade.

What Furniture Do We Render?

Over more than a decade we have created thousands of furniture renders for manufacturers, importers and online retailers, from single chairs to collections with dozens of colour variants. We take every project from the 3D model to finished files for the shop, the catalogue and advertising. Furniture is one category of our product rendering, alongside homeware, industrial equipment and other products.

One 3D Model, Many Ways to Present It

studio render and 3D packshot of an upholstered chair

Studio Renders and 3D Packshots

Photorealistic furniture images on a plain background, ready for catalogues, online shops and advertising. One 3D model gives you any number of angles and colour variants, with no photo shoot to organise and no furniture to ship to a studio.

 360° Product Spins

An interactive view that lets shoppers look at a piece from every side, right in the browser. Online customers can rotate the product themselves instead of relying on a few static photos.

3D Furniture Animation

Animations that show how a piece works, such as folding, adjusting and opening mechanisms, or present the product in motion in an eye-catching way for social media and ad campaigns.

3D Furniture Configurators

An interactive tool in which customers choose the size, upholstery, colour and finish of a piece themselves, with a photorealistic real-time preview and an automatic price. More about 3D configurators.

Furniture Drawings With Dimensions

As well as photorealistic renders, we prepare clean vector drawings showing the dimensions of each piece, exactly the kind online shops put on the product page so customers can judge the size without seeing it in person.

Furniture in Room Sets

A piece in a room shows scale and atmosphere that a packshot can’t. We build classic room sets entirely in 3D, so we have full control over every element. For large collections we increasingly create AI-assisted room sets: the furniture comes from our render and AI builds the interior around it. It is faster but has its limits, so we will always advise which method suits your collection.

Massoni office furniture

3D render of Massoni office furniture

Our work with the Massoni furniture factory goes back well over a decade: first as an in-house visualisation artist, then through founding our own studio, to today’s long-standing partnership as an independent contractor. In that time we have produced hundreds of renders of office and executive furniture, from single studio shots to office room sets and print-ready catalogues.

Comad bathroom furniture

3D render of Comad bathroom furniture

Since 2024 we have prepared material for every new collection from Comad, a bathroom furniture manufacturer in Szczecin, Poland: packshots, drawings with dimensions and load ratings, and AI lifestyle images. We keep the light and finish colours identical across each collection, because online buyers must receive exactly what they saw in the picture.

Rendez Vous Deco premium furniture

3D packshot of a Rendez Vous Deco premium piece

For Rendez Vous Deco, a French brand from Lyon, we created 3D models of premium furniture. Here literally every detail mattered. On projects like this we often spend more time modelling a single chair than on an entire interior render: complex shapes and construction details must be reproduced with complete precision so the 3D model matches the physical product exactly.

“We have been working with Piotr and the LightVision team since 2019 on our residential developments in Adelaide. For every new project they prepare exterior renders, kitchen visualisations and colour floor plans, working straight from our CAD drawings. They ask the right questions, turn changes around quickly and the quality is consistently excellent. The time difference has never been a problem. We come back to LightVision with every new development.”

“I have worked with LightVision many times (around 5 or 6 times in the last year). It is worth every penny for the great quality renders they deliver. Excellent communication and always outstanding 3D renders.”

“I worked with Lightvision when we were launching sales of Unno timber-frame houses. At that point we didn’t have a single physical house to show. We ordered exterior renders of every design and 3D animations of the exteriors and interiors. (…) They are still selling.”

Everything You Want to Know About Furniture Rendering Before You Get in Touch

How much does a 3D furniture render cost?

The price depends on the complexity of the piece, the number of images and colour variants. A white-background packshot starts at €85 once we have the 3D model, and the model itself at €120 (excl. VAT). Quotes are free, and prices for our other services are in our 3D visualisation price list.

Do you need a physical prototype?

No. We can build the 3D model from technical drawings, CAD files or even a detailed description and reference photos, before any prototype exists. That lets you market new collections while they are still being designed.

What files do you need to render a piece of furniture?

CAD files (DWG, DXF, STEP) with exact dimensions work best. If you don’t have them, technical drawings in PDF or JPG plus a description of the materials and finishes are enough. We model the rest from that.

Are the renders suitable for print catalogues?

Yes. We deliver files at a resolution suitable for both online use and print: catalogues, leaflets and large-format advertising.

How many colour variants can I order for one piece?

As many as you like. Once the 3D model is built, further colour and material variants need no remodelling. You only pay for rendering each new version.

Do you create 3D furniture animations?

Yes. We make animations showing how a piece works, such as folding, adjusting and opening mechanisms, and short clips of the product in motion for social media and ad campaigns. More on our 3D animation.

Do you build 3D furniture configurators?

Yes. We build interactive configurators in which customers choose the size, upholstery and finish themselves, with a live preview. More on our 3D configurators.

Do you create AI room sets for furniture?

Yes. We take the piece from our render, so it matches the product, and AI builds the interior around it. It is a faster alternative to a classic 3D room set, but with less control over the setting. More on our AI visualisation.
