AI Visualisation

Your product from a 3D render, with the interior, surroundings and mood around it generated with AI. Accurate in size and colour, with no photo shoot.

AI Builds the Setting, the Product Comes From the Render

An image generator will create a nice interior in seconds, but it won’t reproduce your product faithfully. That is why in our AI visualisations the product always comes from a 3D render, with exact dimensions, materials and details. AI is only responsible for what surrounds it: the interior, the setting, the light and the mood. Most of our work like this is furniture room sets, but we work the same way with lighting, homeware and architectural renders.

Where AI Visualisation Works Best

Furniture room sets

A single piece or a whole set from the packshot, placed in a bathroom, living room or bedroom. We do this at scale, for entire collections, in one consistent style.

Products and homeware

Lights, fittings, decor and appliances. The product from the render goes into an interior that shows its scale and how it looks in use.

Architectural surroundings

To house and development renders we add greenery, people, seasons and weather. The building stays exactly as it is, and the image gains atmosphere.

Variants and campaigns

The same product in several interiors and styles, in portrait and square formats for social media. Enough material for weeks of posts.

How an AI Furniture Room Set Is Made

1. Packshot from the 3D model

We start with a 3D model and a packshot of the piece or set. If you already have packshots from us, we use those. From the outset the furniture has the right dimensions, finish colour, fronts and handles.

2. Interior by AI

An advanced AI workflow builds the interior around the furniture. ControlNet holds the shape and proportions, and further nodes take the image from the room layout to the light and decor. We use several AI tools, because each one handles something different better.

3. Checking and retouching

AI doesn’t always get everything right. It can get a mirror reflection or the size of a basin wrong, or add an object that shouldn’t be there. We check every image and finish it with traditional retouching where needed.

4. Revisions and final files

We show you the room sets for approval and make your changes: the light, the size of a mirror, the placement of decor. We deliver the files in the formats you need, including portrait formats for social media.

AI Visualisation, a Classic 3D Render or a Photo Shoot?

Photo shoot

You need the finished product, a location or studio, a photographer and transport. Every colour variant means separate photos. It works for single products, but with several collections a year it gets expensive.

Classic 3D render

We model and place every element of the scene by hand, so we have full control over the tiles, fittings, light and framing. The scene can later be changed and rendered in further variants. It takes longer and costs more. Best for catalogue covers, large formats and shots where every element of the interior must be a specific product. More on our interior visualisation.

AI on its own, given an ordinary photo of a piece of furniture, can change how it looks: add a handle, change the number of drawers or the shade of a front. We focus on reproducing the product faithfully. We create it in 3D, and AI only handles what surrounds it.

Limitations of AI visualisation

  • Less control over the setting. We agree the style, colours and mood of the interior, but we can’t place a specific tile, tap or lamp from a catalogue. If the interior has to show chosen products, a classic render is the better option.
  • Harder to repeat exactly. The same interior in another colour variant or from another angle doesn’t always come out identical. In a classic render we change the material and render the scene again.
  • AI errors. Mirror reflections, the scale of accessories, odd details in the background. We catch and fix them, but at large formats and in close-ups that takes more work.
  • AI labelling. Images generated with AI must be labelled. Not every brand is comfortable with that, especially in catalogues and on covers.

For collections, combining both methods works well: a classic render for the catalogue cover and key shots, and AI visualisations for the rest of the lifestyle images.

Comad Furniture in AI Room Sets

For Comad, a bathroom furniture manufacturer in Szczecin, Poland, we create packshots, dimension drawings and AI room sets for every new collection. The full story is in the Comad case study.

Who We Create AI Visualisations For

Furniture manufacturers

Lifestyle images for every new collection, in the same style, without waiting for finished furniture and a shoot. Together with packshots and drawings in a single order.

Lighting and homeware manufacturers

Lights, fittings, decor and appliances shown in an interior, without a shoot and without building the whole scene in 3D. Plus product packshots from the same model.

Online retailers and importers

Products from suppliers often come with white-background photos only. From our model we create lifestyle images that competitors selling the same product don’t have.

Developers and architects

Existing renders of your project in a different season, with greenery and people, for campaigns and social media. Without re-rendering the whole scene.

Everything You Want to Know About AI Visualisation Before You Get in Touch

Will AI change how my product looks?

No. The product comes from our render, built from your files, so its dimensions, materials and details are exact. AI only generates the surroundings. We check every image, and if AI gets something wrong, we fix it in retouching.

What do I need to provide?

Ideally CAD models or technical drawings of the products, plus information on materials and colours. If we have already made packshots or renders for you, just tell us what should go into the room sets. A mood board or examples of interiors you like are welcome.

How much does AI visualisation cost?

Every job is quoted individually. The price depends on the number of images and colour variants, and on whether we already have a 3D model of the product. We build the model once and then create packshots, drawings and AI visualisations from it, so for a whole collection the price per image is lower. Revisions during approval are included, and quotes are free. Prices for packshots and our other services are in our 3D visualisation price list.

Can I choose the interior style?

Yes. We agree the type of room, wall colours, flooring and mood, for example a light Scandinavian bathroom or a dark, cosy living room. For a collection we make sure all the room sets look consistent, as if from one shoot.

How long does AI visualisation take?

We usually show the first images for approval within a few working days of receiving the packshots or files. For a whole collection we agree the deadline in the quote, together with the schedule for packshots and drawings.

Can you add AI to existing architectural renders?

Yes. Using AI we add greenery, people, seasons or weather to renders of houses and developments. The massing, facade and proportions stay unchanged because they come from the 3D model. That is how we create, for example, a winter view of a project without re-rendering the whole scene.

Do AI visualisations have to be labelled?

Yes. Images generated with AI must be labelled, and social media platforms increasingly do this automatically. We will advise you on how and where to add the label.

Can I use AI visualisations in my shop, catalogue and ads?

Yes. Once the order is paid, we grant a licence to use the images in your online shop, catalogue, advertising and social media, in line with our terms of business.

Do you also create classic 3D renders?

Yes. When you need full control over every detail, for a catalogue cover for example, we build the whole scene in 3D. See our interior visualisation, furniture rendering i architectural visualisation.
