3D Product Rendering

Photorealistic packshots, lifestyle images and 3D animations of your products. We show the product before it goes into production, in every variant and without a photo shoot.

Packshots and Lifestyle Images From One 3D Model

An online shop needs two kinds of product image. A white-background packshot shows the product precisely, from every side and in every variant. A lifestyle image shows the scale and how the product looks in use. We create both from one 3D model, so you don’t need a prototype, a studio or a photographer, and a new colour or finish doesn’t mean another shoot. We work for manufacturers of furniture, tiles, appliances and homeware, and for online retailers.

From Packshot to 3D Configurator

3D furniture renders

Furniture Rendering

We have worked with furniture manufacturers for well over a decade. We create packshots, lifestyle images, dimension drawings and animations of office, bathroom, upholstered and kitchen furniture. One 3D model of a piece covers every colour and material variant, with no shoot for each version. See how we approach furniture rendering.

 3D Modelling

Every render starts with a 3D model. We build it from CAD files, technical drawings or photos, with as much detail as the product needs. That one model then gives you packshots, lifestyle images, animations, configurator assets and AI visualisations.

Packshots for E-commerce

A 3D packshot is a photorealistic product image on a white or neutral background, ready for your online shop, marketplaces and catalogues. We create every colour and finish variant without physical samples or a photo shoot. Alongside the packshots we also prepare dimension drawings that buyers see on the product page.

3D Models for Configurators

A configurator lets customers choose the colour, material and size of a product themselves and see the result immediately. It is built on lightweight, polished 3D models prepared to run in the browser. We create just the models for your configurator, or complete 3D configurators.

360° product spin

360° Product Spins

A 360° spin lets shoppers view the product from every side, right on the product page. We create interactive 360° views from the 3D model, without a photo shoot, for furniture, appliances, accessories and other products.

Lifestyle Images

A lifestyle image shows the product’s scale and how it looks in use: in a living room, kitchen, office or outdoors. These images work on social media, in campaigns and catalogues, wherever a packshot alone won’t catch the eye. We build them in 3D, with full control over every element of the scene.

AI Visualisation

When you need many lifestyle images fast, AI visualisations are a good fit. The product comes from our render, so its size and colour are accurate, and AI builds the interior around it. It is an alternative to a classic render: faster, but with less control over the setting.

3D Product Animation

Animation shows what a photo can’t: how a mechanism works, what happens inside a device and how the product looks in motion. For Eternal Energy we used it to show a pellet boiler working from the inside, the parts a user never sees inside the closed casing. We also make short 3D animations of products for social media and campaigns.

Waxman Ceramics tiles

Render of a bathroom with Waxman Ceramics handmade zellige tiles

★★★★★

“We have been working with Piotr and the LightVision team since 2019 on our residential developments in Adelaide. For every new project they prepare exterior renders, kitchen visualisations and colour floor plans, working straight from our CAD drawings. They ask the right questions, turn changes around quickly and the quality is consistently excellent. The time difference has never been a problem. We come back to LightVision with every new development.”

“I have worked with LightVision many times (around 5 or 6 times in the last year). It is worth every penny for the great quality renders they deliver. Excellent communication and always outstanding 3D renders.”

“I worked with Lightvision when we were launching sales of Unno timber-frame houses. At that point we didn’t have a single physical house to show. We ordered exterior renders of every design and 3D animations of the exteriors and interiors. (…) They are still selling.”

Everything You Want to Know About Product Rendering Before You Get in Touch

What do you need from me to render a product?

CAD files (DWG, STEP) or technical drawings in PDF work best, but they are not essential. We also work from sketches and product photos. The more material you send, the faster and more accurately we can rebuild the product in 3D. When we quote, we always tell you exactly what we need.

How much does a product render cost?

The price depends on the complexity of the product and the number of images. Guide prices are in the pricing section above, and our other services are in our 3D visualisation price list. Every job is quoted free of charge and with no obligation.

Do you make changes after showing me the renders?

Yes, revisions are included in the price. Before delivering the files we show you a draft and make your changes until you are fully happy.

In what format will I receive the renders?

As high-resolution JPG, PNG or WebP files, ready for print, your website, social media and catalogues. Everything is delivered electronically.

How long does product rendering take?

It depends on the scale of the project. A single product usually takes a few working days, and for larger packages we agree a schedule. We confirm the deadline before we start.

Do you work with manufacturers and retailers?

Yes. We work regularly with manufacturers of furniture, tiles, appliances and homeware, with online shops and with marketing teams. A manufacturer usually needs many colour variants without a photo shoot, a retailer needs rich product pages. We create both single images and material for entire catalogues.

What if I’m not happy with the result?

We offer a satisfaction guarantee: if the final result doesn’t meet your expectations, you don’t pay. In practice this almost never happens, because you can see progress and comment at every stage.

Do you create product animations?

Yes. An animation shows how the product works, including from the inside, as in our project for Eternal Energy. We also make short clips of products in motion for social media. More on our 3D animation.

Do you create AI product visualisations?

Yes. We take the product from our render, so it matches reality, and AI builds the interior around it. It is a faster alternative to a classic render, but with less control over the setting. More on our AI visualisation.
