3D Animation

Camera fly-throughs of developments, animations of products and furniture in action, instruction videos and social media reels. We show movement, scale and how a product works, before it exists.

3D Animations That Work for Your Sales

Where a still shows one frame, an animation takes the viewer through the whole development or shows how a product works. We create them in 3ds Max and Corona, from the model used for the renders or from your drawings, for developers and manufacturers.

What You Can Use a 3D Animation For

3D animation with a camera fly-through of a development

Camera Fly-Through of a Development

The film takes viewers through the development, the building and the interiors, showing scale, layout and finish before the scheme exists. It works in the sales office, on the project website, in campaigns and at trade fairs, and replaces drone footage and a film shoot. We create it from the same model as the development renders.

A 3D Animated Reel for Social Media

A short portrait animation for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, usually 15 to 30 seconds. The camera flies over the development, enters an apartment or shows a product up close. This format stops the scroll and works well in ad campaigns. The example here is a reel for Eurobud.

3D animation of an Eternal Energy pellet boiler at work

3D Product and Furniture Animation

Animation shows what a photo can’t: how a mechanism works, what happens inside a device, how a piece of furniture folds out, adjusts and opens. For Eternal Energy we used it to show a pellet boiler working from the inside. For furniture manufacturers we make animations for product pages and campaigns, from the same models as the packshots and lifestyle images.

3D Instruction and How-To Videos

An animation shows step by step how to assemble, use or maintain a product, more clearly than a printed manual. Fewer assembly mistakes mean fewer service calls and happier customers. We make instruction videos for manufacturers of furniture, appliances and equipment, based on the product’s 3D model.

AI Animation

From an existing render or packshot we use AI to create a short camera move or bring the scene to life, for social media for example. It is a faster and cheaper alternative to full 3D animation, but with less control over movement and detail, so it isn’t suitable where accuracy matters, such as showing how a product works. We explain what AI does well and what it doesn’t on our page about AI visualisation.

3D Animation in Our Projects

An animation of the boiler working from the inside, a 360° spin and a boiler room film for a new product launch.

Unno modular houses

3D render of an Unno house with a pitched roof and glazed gable among autumn trees

Exterior animations of the houses and an interior film that served as the show home for a long time.

Zakątek Chmielna development

3D marketing material for the Zakątek Chmielna development in Żyrardów

An animation of the development together with renders, virtual tours and a 3D masterplan in one package for the developer.

From Design to Finished Film

01

Design or model

Floor plans, technical drawings or the model from our renders. If we already have the model, we start straight away.

02

Camera preview

A simplified version of the film with the camera moves and pacing, for your approval. We agree it before rendering starts, to avoid costly changes later.

03

Rendering and editing

We render the frames at full quality, edit the film and add captions or graphics if they are in scope.

04

Final files

MP4 in Full HD or 4K, in landscape, portrait and square versions, ready for your website, ads and screens.

“I worked with Lightvision when we were launching sales of Unno timber-frame houses. At that point we didn’t have a single physical house to show. We ordered exterior renders of every design and 3D animations of the exteriors and interiors. (…) They are still selling.”

Everything You Want to Know About 3D Animation Before You Get in Touch

How much does a 3D animation cost?

An animation starts at €45 per second of film when we also produce the renders, or €75 per second from scratch. The final price depends on the length, the number of shots and whether we already have the 3D model. Every project is quoted free of charge and with no obligation.

What do you need from me to create a 3D animation?

If we have made renders for you, we already have the 3D model and the animation comes together faster. If we start from scratch, we need drawings: floor plans, technical drawings or a description. We also work from sketches and references.

How long does a 3D animation usually need to be?

We match the length to the purpose. An Instagram reel is 15 to 30 seconds, a fly-through of a development usually 60 to 90 seconds, and a full presentation of a scheme can run 2 to 3 minutes.

Do you animate furniture and products?

Yes. We show mechanisms at work, furniture folding out and adjusting, the inside of devices and step-by-step assembly. One example is the boiler animation for Eternal Energy. We animate furniture using the same models as the furniture rendering.

Can changes be made after the animation is finished?

They can, but it is costly because the frames have to be rendered again. That is why before production we show you a preview, a simplified version of the film with the camera moves, for approval. As a result, changes to the finished film are rare.

In what format will I receive the animation?

As MP4 files in Full HD or 4K, ready for your website, social media and screens in the sales office. On request we prepare landscape, portrait and square versions.

How long does a 3D animation take?

It depends on the length of the film and whether we already have the model. We set the deadline in our proposal and confirm it before work starts.

Can a 3D animation be used for Google and Facebook ads?

Yes. We prepare animations in the formats and aspect ratios the ad platforms require, including short cut-downs for campaigns.

Can you animate a development that hasn’t been built yet?

Yes, that is the most common case. The animation is created from the design, so you can start sales and marketing long before construction is finished.
